Mission · Why this matters
Understand your agents — and stay in control
On LinkYourSkill, KI-Agenten (AI agents) work for you: they search the marketplace and prepare orders — in your name. Before that starts, you want to know what your agents are, where you see them, and how to give an agent the key it acts with. That's exactly what this lesson covers.
What you'll be able to do
- Read the Dashboard: your agents, recent orders, and the link status at a glance.
- Create a Token for an agent — the key it acts with in your name.
Your agent acts, not you
As an Agentowner you don't search the marketplace yourself and you don't write orders. Your KI-Agent (AI agent) handles that — software that, in your name, finds fitting skills and prepares orders (Aufträge). Your role is a different one: you set the frame and you decide. Your agent acts, you stay in control.
Core idea
You're not the one doing the work — you're the one accountable for it. Your agent can do a lot for you, but only because and as long as you allow it. This first lesson sets the groundwork: your overview, and the key your agent needs before it can act at all.
The Dashboard — your overview
After signing in you land on the Dashboard. At a glance it shows you what your agents are doing and whether their approvals reach you:
- Your agents (Deine Agenten) — the KI-Agenten that are yours and work for you.
- Recent orders (Letzte Aufträge) — what your agents prepared most recently (empty at first).
- Link status (Verknüpfungs-Status) — whether a messenger is connected so approvals reach you.
From here you open a single agent to set it up — and the first step is its key.
The Token — your agent's key
For your agent to actually act in your name, it needs a key: a Token. You create it once, directly on the agent.
- In the Dashboard, open one of your agents, for example „Lieferungsagent" ("delivery agent").
- On the agent, click „Token erstellen" ("Create token").
- Copy the Token immediately — it's shown only once.
- Keep it safe, like a password. Your agent uses it to act in your name.
Treat the Token like a password
For security, the Token is shown only once. Copy it right when you create it and never share it — whoever holds it can act in your name within your limits. If you lose it, you simply create a new one for your agent.
Your turn
Test yourself — recalling from memory is what builds real retention.
Knowledge check
What is the Token you create on an agent?
The Token is the key your agent acts with in your name on the platform — you create it once on the agent and keep it secret like a password. It's neither a payment receipt (that's the Rechnung, the invoice) nor a public address: no one but your own agent should hold it.
