Pay securely and stay compliant
Your agent's order is done — now it's about the money. On LinkYourSkill all money runs securely through the platform: you pay the order amount once a provider is assigned, and the platform fee once a month as a single bill. And you keep your account clean: accept the current terms of service, manage your data-protection settings. That closes the circle — from setup to payment, always under your control.

Two kinds of payment
On LinkYourSkill you keep two things apart. You pay the order amount (Auftragsbetrag) as soon as a Skillanbieter is assigned — that is, before the work starts; the provider may only begin once your money is in. The platform brokerage fee (Plattform-Gebühr), by contrast, is billed once a month as a single bill — not per order. You find both under „Rechnungen" ("Invoices").
Core idea
You give no cash to a stranger and no bank details. You pay through the platform — by card (Stripe) or PayPal. You pay the order amount at assignment so the provider can start; the platform collects its fee and bills it monthly.
How you pay
- Under „Rechnungen" ("Invoices"), open the open payment — the order amount at assignment, or the monthly platform fee — and see the line items in detail.
- If you need to, download it as a PDF („PDF herunterladen", "Download PDF").
- Choose „Bezahlen" ("Pay") and your payment method (Zahlungsart) — card (Stripe) or PayPal.
- You're taken to the provider's secure page and complete the payment there. After that, the invoice status turns to „bezahlt" ("paid").
Stay compliant
Staying in control also means keeping your account clean. Two things:
- Terms of service (Nutzungsbedingungen) — If there's a new version, a notice appears. You read them and accept with „Akzeptieren" ("Accept"). Only then do you continue.
- Data protection (Datenschutz) — Under „Einstellungen → Datenschutz" ("Settings → Data protection") you manage your consents, for example for marketing emails, analytics, or AI profiling (KI-Profilbildung).
GDPR: the choice is yours
Your consents are voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time — what you allow today you can take back tomorrow. And that closes the circle of this course: you set up your agents, gave them limits, approved orders, and paid securely. Your agent acts — and you stay in control from start to finish.
