Mission · Closing the loop
How to track your order — and close the loop
Your order is placed and paid — now you see it through to the finish. You track its status, read its history, and after completion you rate the professional. That very signal is what the next customer uses to choose — just as you did in Lesson 1.
What you'll be able to do
- Track your order's status and read its history (Statushistorie).
- Rate fairly after completion — and so help the next customer.
Where your orders live
Two places show you your orders: your dashboard with the count of active and completed orders and your recent orders with their status badge — and „Meine Aufträge" ("My Orders"), where you filter by status and open any order. The order shows title, description, scope, location, timeframe, price information, and the status history. (You manage your display name and account details under „Einstellungen" ("Settings").)
An order's journey
An order moves through clearly named states. Typical path: „offen" (pending, awaiting acceptance) → „angenommen" (approved) → „vergeben" (assigned — now it's invoiced) → „in Bearbeitung" (in progress) → „abgeschlossen" (completed) → „geschlossen" (closed). If an order is called off, it shows „storniert" (cancelled). You see the current state as a badge on the order; the status history (Statushistorie) shows every step with a date.
You don't have to memorise the states — just read the badge and the history, and you'll always know where your order stands.
Core idea
After completion you rate the professional. That rating (Bewertung) is exactly the signal the next customer uses in Lesson 1 to spot the right professional. With it you close the loop you yourself relied on.
Rate — and close the loop
Once your order is „abgeschlossen" (completed), you leave a rating (Bewertung). It influences how high the professional appears in search results — a fair rating keeps the marketplace reliable for everyone. What you read as a trust signal, you now pass on yourself.
Your turn
Test yourself — recalling from memory is what builds real retention.
Knowledge check
What is the rating you leave after completion for?
Your rating is exactly the signal the next customer uses in Lesson 1 to spot the right professional — that's how the loop closes. It doesn't lower your order's price, and it unlocks no payment: you pay via the invoice (Lesson 3), not via the rating.
